Amani Counselling Centre and Training Institute welcomes you to our Nyeri Regional Centre established in 2004. Services offered include:

CLINICAL
We offer counselling services to individuals, couples, children, family and groups. We also offer clinical / counsellor supervision to practicing counsellors as well as debriefing / defusing of individuals and groups. Clinical services are conducted at our premises or where the clients choose including at their workplace.

DIPLOMA PROGRAMS

Diploma in Social Work and Community Development, Diploma in Psychological Counselling & Diploma in Family and Marital counselling

CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
Psychological Counselling,  Drug and Substance Counselling, Social Work, Community Development,  Family and Marital Counselling, HIV Testing and Counselling, Training of Trainers / Facilitation of Trainers & Clinical / Counsellor Supervision

Basic Counselling Skills, Drug and Substance Abuse Counselling, Family Counselling, Parenting, Adolescent Counselling & Loss and Grief

OUTREACHES EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS (EAP)
We tailor make programmes to Institutions on EAP programs and carryout clinical and outreach trainings to meet the different needs of the clients such as banks, Non-Governmental organizations (NGOs), corporates, schools, hospitals, churches among others. Some of the organisations we have worked with are Family Bank, Consolidated Bank, Cooperative Bank and, Little Angels Organization.

PROJECTS

1. Community trauma response for recurrent traumatic events in the region e.g. landslides, fire, accidents and death.

2. Training of care providers working with the National Police Services, Prisons, Children’s Department, Probation and    Aftercare department and Helpers of the differently abled persons. This is in addition to the Ministry of Education and Teachers Service Commission.
